Generate an API Key

API keys are issued from the Cogneris platform, under Developers → API Keys.

  1. Sign in to your tenant on the Cogneris platform.
  2. Open the left-side menu and go to Developers → API Keys.
  3. Click + New key, give it a descriptive name, and confirm with Generate.
  4. Copy the plaintext value (xtkt_live_…) shown in the dialog — the platform displays it only once.
  5. Store it in your secrets manager. You can revoke it from the same page at any time.
