AI Executor

AI Executor is no longer offered in the palette: the Workflow service has no step that runs it, and a workflow that contains it cannot be published. A draft that still has one opens with the notice This phase cannot run yet on the node and in its settings; remove the node before you publish.

When to use it
Not yet. No workflow template adds it; it appears only if you add it from the palette or the guided Step type list.
For AI work on documents, use the phases the service runs: Classification, Extraction, Zero Shot, Facematch and Cross-check (whose semantic comparator takes a prompt).
What happens in a run
When a process reaches AI Executor, the service finds no step for the phase type ai_executor. The step fails with the error No executor registered for phase 'ai_executor' and the whole run fails. No AI model is called and no answer is produced.
Publishing does not warn you: the service accepts a workflow containing this phase.
Prompt, model and answer
There are none. The panel has no prompt field and no model choice, and since the phase never runs, nothing is done with an answer. Whatever you type in Config (JSON) is stored with the phase and ignored; text that is not valid JSON is not saved.
Configuration
The panel has no form of its own. Its header shows the phase type as AI_EXECUTOR.
