This manual has one part per Cogneris product (a satellite), after the chapters every user shares. This page lists the parts and the journeys that cross more than one product. It only routes you: the steps of each product live in that product's part.

Oldest review is the earliest last reviewed date among the chapters of the part. Each chapter ends with its own review date, version and owner.

Shared topics — sign-in, multi-factor authentication, your team, profiles and billing — are described once, in Getting started. Product parts link to them and never repeat them.

Journeys across products

A document can pass through several products. Which ones depends on how your company set up its Portal forms and its workflows; a product your company did not configure is simply skipped.

JourneyProducts, in orderStart here if you
Collect and review documentsPortal → Document Center (ECM) → Workflow → back to Portal when a correction is neededinvite people to send documents, or review what they sent
Sign and file a documentWorkflow → Sign → Workflow → Document Center (ECM)run workflows that produce a document someone must sign

The two journeys connect: a workflow fed by the Portal can continue, after review, into a signature phase. The full chain is then Portal → Document Center → Workflow → Sign → Workflow → Document Center.

How the journeys are written

  • Each step names the product, who acts and what is handed to the next product, then links to the chapter that holds the instructions.
  • Optional marks a step that happens only when your company configured it.
  • The hand-offs were described from the product source code on 2026-10-09. They were not yet walked end to end in a test environment; the product chapters they link to state what was observed.
